Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Articles
Original articles including introduction, methods with statistical analysis section, results, and discussion subheadings.
Reviews
Reviews including introduction, structured sections determined by the author(s), and conclusion subheadings.
Case reports
Case reports including introduction, case presentation, and discussion subheadings. Submission of videos is encouraged.
Invited editorials
Invited editorials including an unstructured text.
Letters to the editors
Letters to the editors including an unstructured text. Letters must be submitted regarding a manuscript published in the current issue, and submitted letters will be published in the upcoming issue. The author(s) of the commented article has the right to reply.
Original images
Original images including unstructured text. Submission of videos is encouraged.
