Author Guidelines

Submitted materials have not been published and are not being considered for publishing elsewhere. A double-blind (Author/Reviewer) peer-review process is applied to all manuscripts submitted to the Journal. All submissions are first evaluated by the Editorial Board and then appropriate ones are reviewed by at least two independent/unbiased reviewers having expertise in the field of arrhythmia. The Editor-in-Chief invites an external and independent/unbiased editor to control the article evaluation processes of materials submitted by editors or the editorial board members. The Editor-in-Chief is the final professional in the decision-making process of all submissions.

Ethics Committee approval is required and must be included in the text for clinical and experimental studies. Written informed consent from study participants must be also included in the text for all submissions.

All submissions to the Journal must be free from any form of plagiarism and ethical misconduct. The journal routinely screens articles for plagiarism during the submission process. All submitted articles are checked using iThenticate® for possible plagiarism detection.

All authors of the submitted materials must meet the essential criteria for authorship suggested by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE - www.icmje.org). Change of authorship requests (removal/addition of an author, change in the order of authors) after completion of the submission process must be informed by the corresponding author via an e-mail (info@jaejournal.com) which must be approved and signed by all authors.

Statements for the conflicts of interest regarding the authors and funding related to the study must be included in the submitted manuscripts.

If previously published content, including figures, tables, or any other material in both print and electronic formats, is included in the submitted materials, the author(s) must obtain valid permission from the copyright holder. Legal, financial, and criminal liabilities regarding this issue belong to the author(s).

In the case of a request for the post-publication correction and/or an ethical issue, an Erratum Note and/or Retraction Note will be added to the regarding the issue of the Journal, respectively.

In the case of a withdrawal request for a manuscript, Journal's Editors have all rights to decide the withdrawal. After completion of the withdrawal process, the author(s) can submit their work to another journal.

The manuscripts should be prepared under international guidelines. First, technical evaluation of the submitted manuscript is performed by the Editorial staff. Then appropriate manuscripts enter the evaluation and review process.
